News Archive - December 2007

Thursday 27th December

I know it's been ages since I added anything to the site or updated the news page and there's really no excuse for it.  I've been busy spinning some experimental yarns - getting beads onto singles and working out the correct spacing when you come to knit them is quite time consuming.  I did create a lovely sequinned yarn that I made a scarf with a star motif for my neighbour who has been wonderfully welcoming in the last few months.

And then there's been Christmas.  Who'd have thought that Christmas for five was just as time consuming as Christmas for 20.  For the first time in 10 years we just had our immediate family with us on Christmas day - Tassie is quite a commute just for a meal.  But it was a wonderful day, the children loved their gifts,  the turkey was perfect and the weather was sensational, a mild 15 degrees.

As the year comes to a close I want to say thank you to all of you who have bought from me and all of you who keep showing interest, it really helps to keep me going. Remember, I knit anything (well, almost) so all requests/enquiries are welcome.

Have a great 2008, take care.
