It's amazing how time flies when you're doing nothing - that is nothing but unpacking, cleaning, building cabinets and all the other things associated with making someone else's home your own.

Even though the weather is perfect for knitting and spinning it's hard to justify just "sitting on my bum" when I look around and see so much I could be doing to make us comfortable here.  But I've finally found time to pep up the website a bit, photograph some throws (click here to see them) that I finished just prior to moving and unsuccessfully hunt for my spinning wheel.

I'm working on some girls' skirts at the moment and I've stumbled upon some red mohair that should make a spectacular wrap or shawl or whatever you call something that's not a sweater or a blanket but still keeps you warm.
