Handspun or hand dyed yarns
allow you to personalise a garment
made from commercial yarn - add a stripe, use it for cuffs, it’s all in
your imagination. These yarns also make great
scarves, beanies and wraps and if there's enough
available they do make a great entire garment; alternatively, yarnoholics
might just like to have a few in their stash.
Being a handmade product handspun yarn is uneven by its nature and therefore will give an extra dimension to your knitting and crocheting.
Any handspun yarn orders over 200g ship within Australia for free.
Each skein of hand spun yarn is
unique and may differ slightly from its companion
(even if spun and dyed at the same time).
When using multiple skeins work 2 rows from
one skein and then 2 rows from the next carrying the
yarn loosely up the side.

A beaded yarn that combines a single of purple with a single of black-grey-white. The beads are threaded onto the purple single as it is spun and they are approximately 1.5m apart - it is very difficult to see the beads in the photo, but believe me they are there. 100% Australian merino, this yarn would make a great scarf or wrap. |
